About This Quiz

Who hasn't heard of the Beatles? Possibly the most famous band in recorded music history, the "Fab Four" consisted of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

McCartney and Lennon were friends from school and formed the Beatles in 1960. Although the band only recorded for a period of 10 years, they were prolific, writing 237 songs with many number one hits on both sides of the Atlantic.

In the United Kingdom alone, the Beatles had 17 songs which hit the top of the charts. Simply incredible. Sadly, tensions in the band began to simmer, and by 1970, the band dissolved.

McCartney went on to form Wings and has had a highly successful solo career. Lennon's solo career was also successful, until he was tragically shot and killed by a crazed fan in 1980. Harrison and Starr also released solo material.

Onto the task at hand then. As a Beatles fan, do you think you can tell us the last word in some of their songs?  Of course, some of their songs are so popular, you probably know all the lyrics. Let's see how you fare overall!
