About This Quiz

Perhaps nowhere in the world of professional sports is there a greater "home field advantage" than in baseball. After all, the term was coined to describe the advantages home teams have when it comes to playing in their stadiums. Baseball stadiums are some of the most famous sports arenas, but how many of them can you identify?

You've of course heard of Wrigley Field and Fenway Park, but do you know what they look like? Gone are the old multi-purpose stadiums of the '60s and '70s, where the football, baseball and occasionally a soccer team all shared the same building. Stadiums today are purpose built for baseball, and their architecture is unique to the sport.  The coveted seats down the third base and first base lines offer fantastic views (along with the occasional foul ball), but there's really not a bad seat in the house.

Of course, every stadium is slightly different from every other. The wind patterns, the angles of the sun, the way the rays bounce off the advertising signs in the upper decks and the way the field slopes up slightly in center field are all very familiar to the men who play there 81 games a year, but to a visitor they can be baffling.

So, grab your bat and take a few swings at this quiz!
