About This Quiz

Pokemon is media franchise managed by The Pokemon Company. Created in 1995 by Satoshi Tajiri, the entire universe and franchise are centered around a group of fictional creatures called Pokemon. Many of the humans in the universe are trainers and are able to catch, train and battle each other.

It first began as a video game which people could play on Gameboy, but later branched out and became involved in the toy making industry, animated series and movies, comic books and trading card games. It has become so successful that it is one of the highest grossing media franchise, only second to the Super Smash Bros. series. 

Some of the most popular characters include Ash Ketchum, Misty and Brock, as well as the different trainers and members of Team Rocket. Popular Pokemon include Charizard, Pikachu, Ninetales, Persian, Mewtwo, Snorlax and Gyarados and those are just the ones from the first Generation.
